Which way do I tat? Well, mostly needle, as shuttle tatting tends to make my hands hurt - and I've never been very good at it!
Why should I tat, I hear you ask. Well, because it's a beautiful art form, there is pride in making things with your own two hands, and it helps you to slow down, relax and enjoy being in the moment - all good things!

ReplyDeleteThe tatting is beautiful. I'm not a tatter but have loved seeing it. I already, sew, embroider, knit, crochet and spin. Maybe one day when I retire (which may never happen as social security likes to remind me), I'll learn to tat.
Hello Elizabeth. I have bought a book both on shuttle and needle tatting. I have tried shuttle with not much luck. So now I will try and needle tat. I so love the look of tatting.
